Questions
What does it cost?
The resume check is free and needs no account. Your first tailored resume and its cover letter are free too, including the download. After that it's $2.99 per tailored resume, cover letter included. You pay once, nothing renews, and what you buy never expires.
Do I get a cover letter too?
Yes. Every tailored resume comes with a cover letter for the same job, at no extra cost. It uses the same facts as your resume, plus any answers you give to questions the job asks, such as whether you need visa sponsorship. Rewrite it as often as you like and download it separately.
How does it know what screening software looks for?
The research is built in. Before a person reads your resume, a parser pulls out the text and a search, a ranking or an AI screener works on it. We studied what parser makers, recruiters and screening tools publish about that, and the tailoring follows it: the job post's own terms where your resume supports them, a plain one-column file, and a read-back of your PDF before you download it.
Will this get me an interview?
No tool can promise that, and you should be wary of any that does. What this does is make sure the experience that fits the job is the first thing a recruiter reads, in clear language. Research on resume writing suggests clarity helps; nobody can honestly put a multiplier on it.
Will it make things up?
It's built not to. It selects and rewrites from what's in your resume and shows you each change, so you can catch anything that isn't right. Always read the result before you send it.
Is the ATS rejecting my resume?
Probably not in the way you've been told. Applicant tracking systems mostly store and sort applications; recruiters report that automatic rejection usually comes from screening questions such as work authorization or location, not from formatting or a keyword score. What software does do is read your file, search it and often rank it against the job post, so we write for that: the post's own terms where your resume supports them, in a file that parsers read cleanly. We don't give you a score.
Do recruiters reject resumes written with AI?
What recruiters say they reject is generic, look-alike text and inflated claims. That's why this keeps your specifics, your numbers and your wording where it can, and never adds experience you don't have.
What happens to my resume?
It's used to produce your tailored resumes and nothing else. We don't sell it. You can delete your resumes at any time. See the privacy policy for the details.
