Terms

These are the terms for using cvagent.ai (the "service"). By using it you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What the service does
You upload your resume and paste a job post. The service compares them, tells you what the job asks for that your resume doesn't show, and produces a version of your resume rewritten for that job from what your resume already contains.
What it doesn't promise
- No outcome is guaranteed. We don't promise interviews, offers or any result from an employer or from any screening system.
- The output can be wrong. The service uses an AI model. It is designed to work only from your resume and to flag anything it can't find there, but it can make mistakes.
- You are responsible for what you send. Read every tailored resume before using it. You are responsible for its accuracy and truthfulness.
Your account
- You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for keeping it secure.
- You must be at least 16.
- One person, one account.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Upload a resume that isn't yours, or use the service to misrepresent your experience or qualifications.
- Use scripts or bots to access the service, or try to get around usage limits.
- Try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Resell access to the service without our written agreement.
We apply daily limits to keep the service available to everyone. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
Your content
Your resume and everything produced from it are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to provide the service to you. See the privacy page for the details and for how to delete your data.
Payments
- Some of the service is free. Where something costs money, the price and exactly what it includes are shown before you pay.
- Payments are one-time. Nothing renews automatically.
- Refunds: if you're not happy with a purchase, write to support@cvagent.ai within 7 days of paying and we'll refund it, no questions asked. To prevent abuse, this covers one refund per person in any 30-day period. Refunded tailored resumes are removed from your balance.
- Payments are handled by a payment provider. We don't see or store your card number.
Our content
The site's design, text, software and name belong to cvagent.ai. These terms don't give you rights to them beyond using the service.
Liability
The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost opportunities, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
Ending
You can stop using the service and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we may stop offering the service; if we do, we'll give reasonable notice where we can so you can download what you need.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and say so on the site. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the changes.
