What cvagent.ai does

cvagent.ai rewrites your resume for one job post, using only what your resume already says. You check each change, then download the resume and a cover letter for the same job.

The four steps#

  1. Upload your resume once. It can be a PDF, a Word file, text, Markdown or a photo, up to 10 MB.
  2. Give us the job post. Paste its text, add a link to it, or add up to 10 photos of it.
  3. Read the tailored resume next to your original. Each line we changed has a mark, and the Gaps tab lists what the job asks for that your resume doesn't show.
  4. Download the resume and its cover letter as PDF, Word, Markdown or plain text.

What it leaves out#

It doesn't add jobs, skills, numbers or dates that aren't in your resume. When the job asks for something your resume doesn't show, you see it as a gap.

If you have done that thing and left it out, you can describe it in your own words on the Gaps tab, and it is added as a new line. If you haven't, leave it. Job posts often list more than the employer needs.
